You can select File transfer underneath the Partner ID field in the TeamViewer window, before you click the 'Connect' button. You can also make a regular Remote Control connection to the other computer, and then click Files & Extras Open file transfer on the toolbar above the session window. Apr 19, 2017 I tried to transfer files between 2 computers with very a good speed connection and the speed is still limited to 140kB/s. If I try the same with two FTP, or with a Peer to Peer program or with telenet I can transfer the same files almost 100 times faster, thus is not a problem of the connection, it seems that Teamviewer has capped the speed.

The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard network protocol used to transfer computer files between a client and server on a computer network. FTP is built on a client-server model architecture and uses separate control and data connections between the client and the server.
This connector is available in the following products and regions:
The FTP Connector requires that the FTP Server be accessible from the cloud and set up to accept PASSIVE mode. The FTP connector doesn't support implicit TLS/SSL configuration. If secure FTP should be used, it should be configured as explicit TLS/SSL.
Trigger limits
The triggers work by polling the FTP file system, and looking for any file which has been modified since the last poll. Certain tools allow the file modification time to be preserved. In such cases, you need to disable the feature for your trigger to work. Here are some common settings:
When the triggers encounter a new file, it will try to ensure that the new file is completely written. For instance, it is possible that the file is being written or modified, and updates are being made at the time the trigger polled the file server. To avoid returning a file with partial content, the trigger will take note of the timestamp such files which are modified recently, but will not immediately return those files. Those files will be returned only when the trigger polls again. Sometimes, this may lead a delay up to twice the trigger polling interval.
The trigger 'When a file is added or modified' doesn't pick up files over 50MB if the content is asked for. If files over 50MB should be processed with retrieving the content, the trigger 'When a file is added or modified (properties only)' can be used followed by the 'Get file content' operation.
The trigger does not fire if a file is added/updated in a subfolder. If it is required to trigger on subfolders, multiple triggers should be created.
Requirements
FTP connector requires the following commands to be enabled on FTP server as the implementation for various actions use these commands:

The behavior depends on the
Allow chunking option in the action settings and the size of a file being created:

Copy file
This operation copies a file to an FTP server. If a file is being deleted/renamed on server right after it was copied, connector may return HTTP 404 error by it's design. Please use a delay for 1 minute before deleting or renaming newly created file.

Create file
This operation creates a file. If a file is being deleted/renamed on server right after it was created, connector may return HTTP 404 error by it's design. Please use a delay for 1 minute before deleting or renaming newly created file.

Triggers
When a file is added or modified (properties only)
This operation triggers a flow when one or more files are added or modified in a folder. This trigger will only fetch the file metadata. To get the file content, you can use the 'Get file content' operation. The trigger relies on the last modified time of a file. If a file is being created by a third-party client, the preservation of the last modified time should be disabled in the client. The trigger does not fire if a file is added/updated in a subfolder. If it is required to trigger on subfolders, multiple triggers should be created.
Parameters
Returns
Blob metadata
When a file is added or modified [DEPRECATED]
This operation triggers a flow when a file is added or modified in a folder. The trigger will fetch both the file metadata as well as the content of the file. The trigger relies on the last modified time of a file. If a file is being created by a third-party client, the preservation of the last modified time should be disabled in the client. Files larger than 50 megabytes are skipped by the trigger. The trigger does not fire if a file is added/updated in a subfolder. If it is required to trigger on subfolders, multiple triggers should be created.
Parameters
Returns
The content of the file.

To make money with TeamViewer, you need experience troubleshooting and repairing computers. The software lets you control another computer remotely as if it were directly in front of you. Using this method, you can fix any computer that has a software-related problem, no matter how far the computer may be. One advantage to using TeamViewer for PC repair is that you don't have to pre-install anything on the client's computer. Experience running a business is a plus, but not required if you plan on being the sole proprietor.
1.
Download TeamViewer and practice for a while if you've never used it before (see Resources). You can use the program for free as long as it's for 'private use,' meaning for family and friends who don't charge a fee. Use it as often as you can to become familiar with the way it works, so that when the time comes, you can concentrate on fixing a client's computer with as little confusion as possible. You're not paid by the hour; you are paid per session, so time is money.
2.
Purchase a license from teamviewer.com to get started. At the time of publication, a business license costs about $750 and includes the most basic features, such as multi-platform support and file transfer. The premium license runs is about $1500 and adds better performance in a few extras, like the TeamViewer Manager and Web connector. The Web connector allows you to use TeamViewer through any browser, while the manager provides a database for billing and managing customers. The corporate license includes all features of the other two licenses, and adds preferred support, an MSI package for speedy installation in a corporate environment and support for three simultaneous sessions.
3.
Advertise your services to potential clients. You won't make much money unless people know what you have to offer. Make business cards, tell everyone you know and start your own website. A website is one of the best ways to draw people in from all over the world, and also provides a visual platform for your business. Make sure to provide an email address, a contact number and a detailed services FAQ.
4.
Click the 'Invite Partner' option in TeamViewer's Connection menu to compose an email once you have a client. The message includes a Quick Support link that the other party downloads to his computer. A popup with an ID number displays on his screen, which you have to enter in your own TeamViewer window to establish a connection. Don't forget to ask the client exactly what symptoms he is experiencing so you know what to look for.
5.
Diagnose the problem and give the client an estimate. TeamViewer includes a chat window so you can communicate while providing support. If the client agrees to the price, tell her what methods of payment you support. It's a good idea to sign up for a service like PayPal so you can be paid online by credit card or electronic check. Once payment is confirmed, complete the necessary repairs to the client's satisfaction.
6.
Keep records for every customer you have and all payments received. You will need this information during tax time, as everything you earn needs to be reported on Schedule C as self-employment income. Use the TeamViewer Manager, Microsoft Access or even pen and paper, as long as the records are accurate and accessible.
